• BLS certification and state licensure/registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, cytology, histology, and blood bank.
• Ensure accurate specimen processing and timely testing.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; uphold QC/QA.
• Communicate results clearly to physicians and staff; protect patient privacy.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with inventory and process improvements.
