Stillwater Insurance Group in Jacksonville, FL invites you to join our IT team as a Help Desk Technician. In this role you will support a Windows desktop environment for internal and remote staff and handle day-to-day technical requests.

You’ll provide Tier 1 help desk assistance, deploy workstations, manage licenses and inventory, onboard new employees, and document procedures while ensuring reliable service during business hours and occasional after-hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience supporting PCs and laptops in a business network setting.
• Preferred: associate or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 help desk support and resolve problems to end user satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond to IT help desk requests and prioritize issues.
• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings for local workstations.
• Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory.
• Document and update internal procedures as needed.
• Install, test and configure new workstations and software.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, software and licenses.
