nLIGHT, Inc. in Camas, WA is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide first-line support for staff across Vancouver, Camas, Hillsboro, and remote teams. You will handle Windows OS, Office 365, SharePoint, and enterprise apps, on-site at the Camas HQ and remotely as needed.

The role emphasizes customer service, problem solving, effective communication, and confidentiality. On-call rotation, travel between locations, and potential overtime are required.

Qualificações

• A+ or comparable hardware certification desired.
• College or IT trade school degree desired.
• Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently at times.
• Ability to work onsite M-F in Vancouver, with travel to other locations as needed.
• Exceptional customer service, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• On-call rotation and potential international/domestic travel up to once or twice a year.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support for Windows OS and enterprise apps.
• Support remotely, online, and face-to-face for staff.
• Manage Active Directory, Office 365 accounts and groups.
• Maintain hardware and perform diagnostic tests at component level.
• Assist with audio/video conferencing systems and IT security basics.
• Document tickets in Jira SM and follow up on resolutions.
• Assist executive staff with IT needs and provide excellent service.
