Job summary

Wachter is accepting applications for a Helpdesk Mid-day shift 2:00-11:00PM in Arizona. The ideal candidates will have industry experience with voice/data/security or electrical fields and can support project management and field technicians.

You will remotely configure network gear, assist with project documentation, and provide service via phone, chat, and email. This is a long-term role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in voice/data/security or electrical fields is preferred.
• Ability to follow project documentation to ensure proper execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and common software (Microsoft Office, Service Now, secureCRT).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers and field technicians on customer projects.
• Capture data from projects including check-in/out times and on-site hours.
• Follow project documentation to ensure proper execution of project support requirements.
• Provide service and troubleshooting support to field techs via phone, chats, and emails.
• Remotely configure and program network cabling and networking equipment (hubs, switches, wireless, CCTV, UPS).
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user hardware and software.
• Execute or create programs and scripts; configure/verify port configurations and network settings.
