Job summary

Howard County Government is seeking a Help Desk support professional to handle phone support, imaging, deployment, and asset management for end point devices. The role includes assisting end users with desktop PCs and laptops, and providing backup telephone support.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting network issues and applying basic Active Directory device management. A valid driver's license is required, with preference for an associate's degree or GED. County programs and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 other similar products.

Responsibilities

• Provides Help Desk technical support for end users’ desktop PCs and laptops.
• Provides backup Help Desk telephone support.
• Troubleshoots and corrects network problems.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory device management.
