Knife River Corporation in Southern Idaho is seeking hard‑working Laborers to support highway construction projects. You will clean and prepare sites, load materials, read plans, and assist Foremen on busy work sites.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of labor experience or are trainable, with strong physical abilities, good coordination, and reliable work ethic. This role involves long manual labor portions and safety‑driven teamwork across crews.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a laborer in heavy highway/construction preferred, but training is available.
• Must be hard-working, dependable and able to perform manual labor for ~90% of shift.
• Must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance; able to concentrate and communicate information.

Responsabilités

• Assist with manual operations at heavy highway construction sites.
• Read blueprints and designs; unloads/loads materials and tends machines.
• Prepare and clean construction sites; remove debris and assist Foremen.
• Dig trenches, install pipes, pour concrete/asphalt as directed.
• Control traffic and ensure safety around work zones.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
