Qualifications

• 1–2 years of laborer experience preferred in heavy highway work.
• Willing to train the right person.
• Ability to perform manual labor for a large portion of shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with manual operations on heavy highway construction sites.
• Participate in demolitions.
• Work with underground utilities.
• Remove trees and debris.
• Read blueprints and designs.
• Control traffic.
• Clear and prepare highway work zones.
• Dig trenches.
• Install sewer, water, and storm drainpipes.
• Pour concrete and/or asphalt.
• Operate tools and machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
