Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Trade Foreman 2 to support routine and non-routine construction activities, supervise a crew, and ensure efficient, high-quality work. The role aligns with the company’s safety culture and Lean practices while delivering on project production goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of commercial construction experience and 2+ years of field supervision, with the ability to read plans, manage crews, and coordinate with suppliers on site.

• Ability to lead crews and achieve production goals.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.
• Experience supervising field crews on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety culture and mentoring others.
• Uses tools to complete assigned tasks on a project.
• Tracks labor hours and submits timecards accurately.
• Maintains tools and equipment to support project needs.
• Leads safety and security procedures within the crew.
• Coordinates quality levels and crew production goals.
• Communicates with suppliers and coordinates deliveries to site.
• Coordinates other trade work within the assigned scope of work.
• Reads plans and coordination drawings; guides team on jobsite tasks.
• Documents key information like activities and crew sizes.
