Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician for our Brighton, CO shop to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of equipment across oilfield, construction, and industrial environments. You will read schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and keep accurate service records while delivering excellent customer service and safety adherence.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years of field service experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience in oilfield, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on rental equipment in the shop.
• Install, service, and repair gas and diesel-powered machinery, HVAC systems, generators, and light towers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain accurate service records using mobile and digital reporting tools.
• Provide professional customer support, including training customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with teammates and elevate complex technical issues when necessary.
• Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

As a Heavy Equipment Technician at REIC Rentals, you'll be the technical expert responsible for ensuring our rental equipment performs at its best-whether in our Brighton, CO shop. In this hands-on role, you'll support critical operations across oilfield, construction, and industrial environments by diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of equipment. What You'll Do

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on rental equipment in the shop

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of field service technician experience in oilfield, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial environments
• Personal set of technician tools
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing gas, diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, electrical, and lighting systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience supporting a diverse equipment fleet
• Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
• CDL preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR required)
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift
