Job summary

REIC Rentals LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, test, maintain, and repair rental equipment both in our Williston, ND shop and at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and deliver hands-on customer support with training on proper equipment care.

Applicants should have 3+ years of technical field experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience in equipment service, field maintenance, or related area.
• Ability to read and apply electrical schematics & blueprints.
• CDL certifications are a plus.
• Clean driving record (MVR check).
• Ability to travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair rental equipment in-house and at customer sites.
• Diagnose issues and resolve them efficiently; collaborate with team when needed.
• Provide hands-on customer support and train users on proper equipment care.
• Maintain accurate service records using modern tools and systems.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the go-to technical expert ensuring our rental equipment performs at its best-whether in the Williston, ND shop or out in the field. You'll play a vital role in keeping customers up and running by diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and making repairs that exceed expectations. What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of technical experience in equipment service, field maintenance, or a related area.
• Good mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting and repair skills (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic a plus).
• Ability to read and apply electrical schematics & blueprints.
• Great communication skills‑you can explain technical issues clearly to customers and teammates.
• A safety‑first mindset and proven track record of working responsibly in shop or field settings.
• CDL certifications is a plus.
• A clean driving record to be verified through MVR
• Ability to travel 50-75%
• MUST be 21+ years of age
