Modern Machinery in Idaho is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician with 2–3 years of repair experience. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, A/C and powertrain systems on Komatsu and affiliated lines, in a fast-paced shop environment.

This role requires strong problem-solving, the ability to read schematics, and travel occasional field work. Relocation assistance is available, overtime eligible, and you will join a team committed to safety and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 2–3 years of verifiable heavy equipment repair experience
• Prior dealership experience beneficial
• Komatsu experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, A/C, powertrain on Komatsu and affiliated lines
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Perform diagnostic testing and tuning of equipment
• Communicate with parts department to order necessary parts
• Complete and submit work orders/time entries daily
• Occasional field work and overnight travel as needed
• Assist other technicians on large repairs or projects
• Attend training sessions
• Follow safety rules and company policies
• Manage documentation and paperwork accurately
