Job summary

Papé Machinery, Inc. – Construction & Forestry Division in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a Rental Territory Manager to grow the short-term rental fleet in your assigned territory.

You will call on customers, qualify leads, and work with the Regional Rental Manager to capture opportunities. You’ll spend the majority of your time prospecting, building relationships with customers and re-rent partners, and coordinating documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in heavy equipment or related industries.
• Knowledge of rental equipment operations and terms is a plus.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Promote short-term rental fleet within assigned territory and drive revenue.
• Collaborate with Regional Rental Manager to coordinate opportunities and complete required paperwork within deadlines.
• Spend at least 80% of time calling on customers and managing rental leads.
• Develop relationships with re-rental partners to grow department revenue.
