Pape’ Machinery, INC. – Construction & Forestry Division in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a Rental Territory Manager to drive growth of our short-term rental fleet. You will report to the Regional Rental Manager and actively promote rentals to customers in your territory.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in heavy equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with heavy equipment preferred; John Deere knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of equipment rentals is ideal.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promote the short-term rental fleet to customers in your assigned territory, collaborating with the Regional Rental Manager.
• Assist the Regional Rental Manager with requested tasks and duties.
• Spend a minimum of 80% of time calling on customers and review/process all incoming rental leads within 24 hours.
• Build relationships with re-rental partners and other companies to increase department revenue.
• Monitor fleet usage and territory management to achieve department goals.
