Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Rental Shop Technician in Brunswick, GA to diagnose and repair rental and customer equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems. You will perform welding, tune-ups and component repairs while documenting work orders and ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of complex hydraulics, electrical, computer and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals, schematics and drawings.
• Ability to operate equipment safely, follow instructions and keep records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and locate mechanical deficiencies on diesel engines and components.
• Repair major subsystems: frames, suspensions, drive trains, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Prepare service orders, document work orders, parts orders and time sheets.
• Tune up engines and diagnose computer controls and air conditioning components.
• Perform welding and fabricate parts as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company time/quality standards.
