Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in equipment rental or related industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and rental accounts.
• Identify and pursue new rental opportunities through prospecting and visits.
• Prepare and present rental quotations, contracts, and equipment recommendations.
• Coordinate with operations, transportation, and service for delivery and support.
• Conduct regular customer visits and jobsite inspections to assess utilization and opportunities.
• Maintain CRM activity, sales forecasts, and opportunity tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, service and operations to resolve issues and ensure a seamless rental experience.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Negotiate rental rates and terms within company guidelines.
• Promote rental value-added services and product support offerings.
• Follow up on active rentals and expiring contracts to maximize utilization.
