Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate machines at a recyclery, landfill, or transfer station in Los Angeles, CA. Qualifications

• Valid certificate(s) of training for use of equipment.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-operation and post-operation inspection of the equipment and maintains clean windows, lights, mirrors and rear view camera.
• Operates equipment including excavator, compactor, bulldozer, forklift, front end loader and other equipment with proper techniques.
• Monitors waste for signs of unacceptable material and adheres to safety policies and procedures.
