Job summary

KBR is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate loaders, excavators, bulldozers and related machinery in support of APS-3 maintenance and logistics. The role requires a SECRET clearance, U.S. citizenship, CAC access, and a high school diploma, with ASE certifications valued.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining records, and training junior staff. Must work at Goose Creek, SC, with strict safety and environmental standards observed.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Valid CAC and base access.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certifications valued.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and according to job needs.
• LOAD/STACK containers and move materials at the site.
• Maintain and update equipment records and service logs.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Provide training to lesser-qualified mechanics as needed.
• Coordinate with Foreman/Lead for assignments.
