Akima Global Logistics seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to support the U.S. Army Equipment Turn-In Site at Fort Cavazos, TX. You will operate forklifts, loaders, cranes and other MHE, moving vehicles and heavy materiel safely in accordance with Army regulations.

Responsibilities include PMCS, documenting movement logs, and coordinating with Supply Technicians and truck drivers. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and Army operator certification are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-4 years of heavy equipment experience (military or contractor) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and Real ID required.
• Army OF 346 operator license required (or ability to obtain).
• Forklift/MHE certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate heavy equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes, RTCH, etc.) at the Army equipment turn-in site.
• Perform PMCS and report deficiencies per Army TM and site procedures.
• Follow Army safety regulations and proper load securement at all times.
• Maintain movement logs and audit-ready documentation for property accountability.
• Coordinate with Supply Technicians, Material Coordinators, and Truck Drivers to move equipment efficiently.
