KBR, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support TACOM operations under a contingency program.

The role covers general maintenance, repair, and operation of motor vehicles to move materials and personnel in a facilities and logistics context. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years in maintenance or related work, and the ability to obtain any required security clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supplemental technical or vocational training preferred.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities support, or related work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate government or commercial vehicles.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including minor repairs to facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and upkeep of buildings, work sites, and equipment.
• Operate motor vehicles to transport materials, tools, equipment, and personnel.
• Load, unload, and move materials to support maintenance and logistics operations.
• Perform inspections of work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures; wear PPE.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and vehicle use as required.
• Support facility upkeep including cleaning, painting, and general labor tasks.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance personnel on work assignments.
