Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, seeks a front-end loader operator in Kentucky to support busy construction sites. You will run loaders and related gear, perform pre-start checks, and coordinate with the Site Foreman to meet daily targets.

This role requires 5+ years of experience, a valid driver's license (CDL may be needed), and the ability to work long hours in a team while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years' experience.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Pass a pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical.
• Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Be able to work long hours when required.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be able to complete safe driver training, possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record; May be required to have or acquire a CDL as necessary.
• Be at least age 18 years of age;
• High school graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience (preferred); and
• Great attention to detail and stress tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader and other heavy equipment to move loads.
• Ensure safe and timely transportation of loads.
• Report to Site Foreman and follow daily job specifications.
• Perform daily pre-start up procedures and check fluid levels; ensure equipment is in good running order.
• Keep equipment clean and inspect for issues.
• Carry out laborer duties as needed and support co-workers.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on time.
