Job summary

R B Hinkle Construction Inc. is seeking skilled Equipment Operators and CDL Drivers to join our team. The role involves operating heavy equipment for construction projects and safely transporting materials to and from job sites.

Responsibilities include inspections, safe operation, reading grade stakes and blueprints, and maintaining logs. Candidates should have a CDL Class A or B, a DOT medical card, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a variety of heavy construction equipment.
• CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record; DOT medical card.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites.
• Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders and other machinery safely.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and daily maintenance checks.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
• Load and unload materials and equipment; ensure secure transport.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain driver logs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates on job sites.
• Perform manual labor as needed and maintain a clean work area.
