Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to work with the laborer team. You will operate loaders, excavators, and dozers, ensuring safe and timely transportation of loads and adherence to job specifications.

The role reports to the Site Foreman and includes daily startup procedures and routine equipment maintenance. Requirements include at least 5 years of experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work long hours.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years' experience.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Pass a pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical.
• Be able to provide valid I-9 documentation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Maintain professional and courteous attitude at all times.
• Be able to work long hours when required.
• Adhere to safety procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• May need to obtain or acquire a CDL as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, dozers, etc.) and transport loads safely and on time.
• Follow Foreman instructions and daily job specifications.
• Perform daily pre-start procedures and use the Daily Equipment Checklist; keep equipment clean.
• Assist with laborer duties as required and support team members.
• Communicate with Foreman regarding job requirements and maintenance needs.
