345 DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I-II for the District 4 Kay County area, Ada, OK. The role reports to the Road Maintenance Supervisor and offers full-time employment with benefits. Qualifications

• One year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of highway maintenance processes and safety practices.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and heavy machinery (trucks, tractors, graders, dozers, loaders, cranes, backhoes, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and facilities.
• Repair roadway shoulders, signs, guardrails and fences as needed.
• Provide traffic control assistance using stop/slow signals or flags.
