• One year of related work experience or equivalent.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) must be obtained within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains excavator with tree cutting attachment.
• Removes trees using a 25 ton excavator on varied terrains.
• Operates excavator near live traffic on interstates and routes.
• Loads and transports equipment using semi-truck/tractor-trailer.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and safety inspections on vehicles.
• Sets up traffic control per SCMUTCD standards and assists in emergencies.
