Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Svc Co in multiple states seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate skid steers, loaders and excavators, and to disassemble structures using a bite bucket. You will perform digging, grading, loading, and routine maintenance while complying with safety policies.

This is a full-time position with up to 95% travel; hourly pay ranges from $26.52 to $39.50 plus benefits under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.).
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures.
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill & debris.
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers.
• Install & remove loader attachments.
• Coordinate to use heavy equipment to separate materials.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
• Climb onto and off equipment using a ladder.
• Work on uneven surfaces with agility.
• Wear PPE and work in all weather conditions.
• Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies.
• Maintain regular and predictable performance.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)

• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.
