Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial SVC CO is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work across multiple states. You will safely operate heavy machinery such as skid steers, loaders, and excavators, and assist in disassembly of buildings using a bite bucket.

Role requires frequent travel and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years' equipment operation experience.
• Ability to operate multiple heavy machines safely.
• Ability to work in teams and follow safety policies.
• Willingness to travel up to 95%.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators).
• Disassemble buildings and structures using a bite bucket.
• Excavate and grade dirt, and move debris as needed.
• Load and unload materials from platforms or trailers.
• Install or remove loader attachments as required.
• Coordinate use of equipment to separate materials.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Climb onto/out of equipment using ladders; work on uneven surfaces.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Working in Multiple States

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 95%

Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
• Install &/or remove loader attachments
• Coordination to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.
