Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy machinery across multiple sites nationwide. The role involves extensive travel (up to 95%), loading/unloading materials, and maintaining equipment in daily operations.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of equipment experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years' experience operating equipment or as an apprentice.
• Must be safety minded and able to work with a team.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and operate attachments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators, etc.).
• Disassemble buildings and structures with a bucket attachment.
• Excavate, grade dirt, and manage debris.
• Load and unload materials from platforms or trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure cleanliness of machinery.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Working in Multiple States

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 95%

Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
• Install &/or remove loader attachments
• Coordination to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.
