Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate skid steers, loaders and excavators across diverse sites in multiple states. This full-time role requires up to 95% travel and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, site preparation, routine maintenance, and adherence to Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies while working in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years' experience operating equipment or apprenticeship.
• Ability to work in varied weather and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.).
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures.
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill & debris.
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers.
• Install & remove loader attachments.
• Coordinate to use heavy equipment to separate various materials.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder.
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces.
• Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet.
• Ability to work productively in PPE throughout weather conditions.
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies.

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 95%

Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.
