Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work across multiple states. You will safely operate skid steers, loaders, and excavators, perform disassembly, excavation, and material handling, and coordinate use of attachments.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of equipment experience or an apprenticeship. Ability to work in all weather, wear PPE, and collaborate with a team is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.
• Ability to operate multiple heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill / debris
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
• Install / remove loader attachments
• Coordinate to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
• Climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Dexterity of hands and feet
• Work in PPE in all weather conditions
• Adhere to Brandenburg environmental and safety policies

Location: Working in Multiple States

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 95%

Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
• Install &/or remove loader attachments
• Coordination to use heavy equipment to separate various materials

• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.
