Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Svc Co is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work across multiple states with up to 95% travel. The role is full-time and requires safety-minded candidates with HS diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of equipment operation experience.

You will operate skid steers, loaders, excavators and other attachments, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate material handling in varying sites.

Qualifications

  • Operates skid steers, loaders, excavators and similar heavy equipment safely.
  • Requires ability to learn and use multiple attachments (hammer, shear, grapple).
  • Team oriented with strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators).
  • Disassemble buildings & structures using breaker/attachment tools.
  • Excavate and grade dirt, load/unload materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Work in PPE across all weather conditions.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Working in Multiple States

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 95%

Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements
  • Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
  • Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
  • Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
  • Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
  • Install &/or remove loader attachments
  • Coordination to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
  • Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
  • Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
  • Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
  • Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
  • Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
  • Regular and Predictable Performance
Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.

Job Specific Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Responsible and safety minded
  • Knowledge on the use of multiple equipment hammer, shear, grapple and/or bucket
  • Ability to make visible distinctions among various debris & scrap materials
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a team
