Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled maintenance/mechanics professional to repair and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, and related systems. The role covers diagnostics, parts orders, welding, and preventive maintenance in a field-based setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and substantial experience with Komatsu/CAT heavy equipment. It also notes safety training and the possibility of DOE/HAZWOPER qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
• Ability to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software.
• DOE Rad Worker II qualification and 40 Hr OSHA HAZWOPER training may be required.
• Pre-employment HAZWOPER physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems, making economical and durable repairs.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment on a company-wide basis.
• Services vehicles/equipment including oil changes, greasing, fluids, filters and maintenance schedules.
• Orders parts and supplies; maintains purchase orders and invoices.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Welds broken parts and maintains a clean, organized work area.
