Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, seeks an experienced Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain construction equipment across our fleet. You will diagnose issues, perform durable repairs, and ensure reliability in field and shop environments.

Required are 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience with heavy equipment (Komatsu, CAT), a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of experience as a skilled automotive mechanic with heavy equipment.
• Experience with Komatsu and CAT heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems and performs durable repairs.
• Disassembles devices to access defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, and shop equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance including oil changes and fluid checks.
• Repairs electrical and hydraulic systems and diesel/gas engines.
• Orders parts and manages purchase orders and invoices.
