Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, seeks a skilled Maintenance/Mechanics technician in Utah to repair and maintain a range of heavy equipment including trucks, dozers, excavators, and graders. The role requires adapting to an afternoon-evening schedule (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM) to support operations.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with heavy construction equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferably 5 years of automotive/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment such as Komatsu and CAT dozers, excavators, graders, water trucks is highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems and perform economical, durable repairs on heavy equipment.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment company-wide.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on vehicles and machinery; diagnose electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Order parts and manage purchase orders/invoices; use computer for job functions.
