Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
• Ability to read manuals and use diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent safety and teamwork in a heavy equipment setting.
• Valid licenses/certificates to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines on heavy equipment.
• Repair or replace components of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Prepare service orders and document work thoroughly.
• Test and tune engines; diagnose control modules and air conditioning.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
• Maintain clean, organized shop and comply with safety procedures.
• Provide accurate quotes and communicate with customers.
