Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel equipment in the field around Washington, GA. The role requires inspecting engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, performing welding, and maintaining service records.

You will operate diagnostic tools, source parts, and ensure safety and DOT compliance while upholding customer service standards. A high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and read manuals.
• Valid, active driver’s license and ability to pass DOT screenings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair on-site field equipment.
• Inspect and locate mechanical deficiencies, source parts as needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment and test engines, hydraulics, electrical systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication of parts and attachments.
• Complete work orders, time sheets and maintain records.
