Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician in Georgia. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel equipment in the field, with responsibility for safety, documentation, and timely service.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, 4+ years of industry experience, and the ability to read manuals, schematics, and perform welding and repair work in the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies in heavy equipment diesel engines and components.
• Determine extent of repairs and prepare service orders.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and safety procedures.
• Perform welding and brazing and fabricate parts as needed.
• Complete work orders, warranty info, and time sheets accurately.
