Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks a Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and hydraulic/electrical systems in the field. Technicians provide timely service, source parts, and document all work with accuracy.

Applicants should have a strong mechanical aptitude, 4+ years of industry experience, and a valid driver’s license with ability to pass DOT screening. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and read manuals.
• Valid, active driver's license and ability to pass DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems in the field.
• Source and order parts as needed and prepare service orders.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Complete all work orders and time sheets accurately and timely.
• Maintain vehicle inspection records and customer communication via approved channels.
