Job summary

Continental's BestDrive in Jacksonville is seeking a Tire Service Technician to dismount, mount, balance, and repair heavy-duty tires for commercial vehicles and off-road equipment. The role includes performing tire service, safety compliance, and on-call road service as needed.

Eligible external candidates may receive a sign-on bonus based on level, with installments at 30, 90, and 180 days. You will join a safety‑conscious team that values reliability, teamwork, and delivering high‑quality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount/dismount/install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately per policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt/re-bolt wheels using lug wrenches and tools.
• Mount/dismount off-the-road tires, including multi-piece rims.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights/weekends on a rotating basis.
• Maintain assigned service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
