Qualifications

• Firm mechanical understanding of trucks and trailers.
• Average PC skills are required; G-Suite, Excel and Word preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven customer service and ability to sell FleetPride products and services.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, employees, and others to answer questions, explain repairs, schedule repairs, and address complaints.
• Support Service Manager and Technicians with daily needs.
• Prepare invoices, open repair orders, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents using Google Sheets and Excel.
• Determine the status of customer accounts and payment needs prior to scheduling work.
• Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
• Obtain authorization for all credit card payments and process payments.
• Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.
• Estimate, schedule and invoice repairs with knowledge.
• Coordinate road call requirements and ensure timely work completion.
• Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and basic bookkeeping.
