Seminole Hard Rock in Atlantic City, NJ seeks a Public Space Attendant to maintain clean and attractive public and employee areas. You will deep clean and sanitize spaces, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure safety for guests and team members while delivering excellent service throughout the property.

Under supervision, you’ll follow procedures, report equipment issues, and support a positive team environment with a focus on responsible gaming and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No formal certifications required, on-the-job training provided.
• Safety and sanitation procedures followed for public spaces.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean, sanitize, and maintain attractive public and employee areas.
• Service assigned areas using provided chemicals and equipment according to procedures.
• Deep clean front and back of house spaces and ensure safety with wet floors signs.
• Notify management of maintenance problems with equipment or guest needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external guests.

Job Description

Under the direction of the manager and shift manager, the incumbent maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Deep clean, sanitize, and maintain attractive public and employee areas
• Service assigned areas using provided chemicals and equipment according to the procedures and standards described in the Public Space Handbook
• Deep clean, sanitize, and maintain attractive front and back of house spaces
• In observation of safety requirements, service assigned areas using provided chemicals and equipment according to established procedures
• Perform other duties associated with public area housekeeping as assigned
• Operate and keep clean equipment, which is used for sweeping, shampooing carpets, and scrubbing, removing, and recoating floor finish in VCT floors
• Ensure all equipment is operated and stored properly.
• Notify management of any maintenance problems with equipment, property, or guest needs
• Follow internal procedures for signing in and out equipment, radios, and master keys
• Provide excellent customer service for our internal and external guests
• Take responsibility for the cleanliness of public spaces
• Recognize and respond to spills or other calls that require immediate attention
• Use wet floor signs to ensure guest and employee safety around wet areas, spills, or other cleaning.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
• Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the company's Mission and values.
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
