Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to maintain clean and attractive public and employee spaces under supervision. You will deep clean, sanitize, and operate cleaning equipment while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in public area housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety rules.
• Strong customer service orientation with guests.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean and sanitize public and staff areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals per procedures.
• Notify managers of spills or safety concerns.
• Provide excellent guest service to internal and external guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public spaces.
• Follow sign-in/out procedures for equipment and keys.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager and Shift Manager, the incumbent maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility

Essential Job Functions

• Deep clean, sanitize, and maintain attractive front and back of house spaces
• In observation or safety requirements, services assigned areas using provided chemicals and equipment according to established procedures
• Perform other duties associated with public area housekeeping as assigned
• Operate and keep clean equipment, which is used for sweeping, vacuuming, brushing, polishing, and more
• Follow internal procedures for signing in and out equipment, radios, and master keys
• Provide excellent customer service for our internal and external guests
• Take responsibility for the cleanliness of public spaces
• Recognize and respond to spills or other calls which require immediate attention
• Use wet floor signs to ensure guest and employee safety around wet areas, spills, or other cleaning
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations
• Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values.
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations
• Other duties as assigned
