Job summary

FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. We provide service to customers by phone or in person to meet identified needs and maximize profit.

The role focuses on parts sales, price determination, and handling returns with attention to catalog details and pricing confidentiality. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 2+ years' sales experience, and strong communication, listening, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience; heavy-duty automotive parts preferred.
• Experience reading catalogs, price sheets and bulletins.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to listen and respond effectively.

Responsibilities

• Help determine and obtain heavy-duty parts for customers by phone or in person.
• Suggest related parts to provide full service and maximize sales.
• Locate and obtain ordered parts from central warehouse or branch.
• Determine sales prices in accordance with company procedures.
• Handle warranty or defective parts per procedure.
• Process approved credits for returns and manage special orders as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists and educate customers about products.
