Granite Construction is seeking a Project Manager in California to direct heavy civil projects up to $15 million, ensuring safety, schedule, and profitability. You will lead planning, budgeting, and coordination with estimators and project controls to drive successful delivery.

Responsibilities include forecasting revenue and costs, leading bid reviews, coordinating with sponsors and construction managers, and maintaining strong relationships with owners and subcontractors to ensure quality

Qualificações

• Experience managing heavy civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
• Understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
• Ability to work in a high production environment.
• Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Forecast project revenue and cost to ensure profitability goals.
• Coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budget.
• Lead estimating efforts on vertically integrated projects to ensure accurate bid-to-build process.
• Coordinate resources to meet project schedule and manage project teams.
• Participate in bid reviews and bid closings to ensure accuracy; work with estimating team on bid schedule.
• Develop comprehensive project startup and kickoff plans with sponsors and managers.
• Provide effective communication among engineers, foremen, superintendents and construction managers.
• Ensure proper job controls: quantities, costs, revenue and schedule.
• Maintain relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, and inspectors for long-term partnerships.
• Ensure accurate construction reports for continuous performance improvement.
• Run projects at profitable margins and comply with safety initiatives.
