You will coordinate with project managers and engineers, maintain logs, and drive continuous improvement on site under varying weather conditions. A strong leader with communication skills is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in heavy civil construction focusing on structures and bridges.
• At least 2 years in a foreman role.
• Knowledge of bridge construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and project documents.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or trade certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and schedule a crew of craft workers and subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to plans.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Monitor and enforce strict safety regulations on job sites, conducting daily safety briefings.
• Manage equipment, materials, and resources to optimize productivity.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, providing progress updates.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets standards.
• Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and necessary documentation.
• Participate in planning and scheduling meetings, contributing to project strategy.
