The DC Army National Guard is seeking Horizontal Construction Engineers to perform heavy equipment operation and site preparation for military construction projects.

The role involves leveling earth, hauling materials, and using bulldozers, roadgraders, cranes, and other heavy machinery. You will also receive nine weeks of Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Training, with paid training and tuition assistance.

Qualificações

• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Eligibility for military enlistment in the Army National Guard.

Responsabilidades

• Level earth for runways and roadbeds.
• Clear, excavate, and dig areas of construction sites.
• Spread fill material and transport heavy equipment.
• Move heavy building materials with cranes.
• Assist in combat engineer missions.
