Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking Horizontal Construction Engineers to operate bulldozers, roadgraders and other heavy equipment to prepare sites for roads, airfields and buildings.

You will learn basic construction methods, gain civilian career opportunities, and complete nine weeks of Basic Training plus Advanced Individual Training, with paid training and benefits. This role offers a path to certifications while serving your state and nation.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)
