Job summary

DC Army National Guard in Nashville seeks a Horizontal Construction Engineer to operate bulldozers, roadgraders and other heavy equipment to clear sites for roads, airfields and buildings. You will level earth, excavate, move materials, and support combat engineer missions while gaining hands-on civilian construction skills.

Training includes nine weeks of Basic Training and nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training; you’ll earn a regular paycheck and qualify for tuition assistance, Montgomery

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.
• Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability.
