Job summary

Affordable Heating & AC LLC in Pembroke, MA is seeking an experienced residential HVAC technician to diagnose, service, repair, and install furnaces, boilers, central AC, heat pumps, and water heaters. Bring 5+ years of hands-on residential HVAC experience; comfortable running service calls independently and explaining options to homeowners.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on residential HVAC field experience. This is an experienced technician position, not an apprentice or entry-level opening; trade-school training alone does not meet this requirement.
• Strong diagnostics and service skills, plus hands-on installation experience.
• Working experience with furnaces, boilers, central AC, heat pumps, and water heaters.
• The ability to troubleshoot independently and complete quality work without constant supervision.
• Reliable attendance, clear communication, and professional treatment of homeowners and teammates.
• A valid driver's license for travel to residential jobs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain, repair, and install residential furnaces, boilers, central AC, heat pumps, and water heaters.
• Run service calls independently, identify root causes, explain options to homeowners, and complete installations with careful startup checks.
• Keep accurate job notes and photos in ServiceTitan; communicate with dispatch; protect customers’ homes; leave clean, finished work.
• Follow applicable codes, safety requirements, and licensing requirements for the work performed.
