Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience in medical terminology, patient registration, billing, or scheduling OR three years of customer service concierge experience.
• Proficient in PC-based systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Validate patient data and ensure accurate CPT coding and case information.
• Triage appointments based on diagnosis, patient preferences and physician specialty.
• Coordinate services and provide instructions as requested by patients and physicians.
• Perform scheduling intra- and inter-departmentally as requested by physician orders.
• Serve as liaison with admitting office regarding hospital reservations.
