Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Heart and Vascular Unit Mainland Campus. The role provides direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision and supports the care team to meet patient needs with confidentiality and compassion.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS within 30 days, CPI training within one year, and English proficiency. 8 weeks of patient care education or related experience are expected; bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training within 1 year of hire or transfer.
• English language proficiency required; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and participate in the plan of care.
• Collect test specimens and support basic lab operations as directed.
• Communicate observations and data to licensed personnel per protocol.
• Maintain confidentiality and support the care team in daily activities.
